Helping Lives Break Free From Addiction
The Thomas A Kerns, M.D. Endowment was created to honor the life work of Dr. Thomas A. Kerns, the founder of Serenity Lane, one of the most effective addiction treatment centers in the nation.
The endowment, a fund of the Oregon Community Foundation, helps patients who have shown a personal commitment to continue their recovery, but don’t have the resources to do so.
Bridging The Gap
It is not uncommon for patients to work their way through many weeks of inpatient treatment only to run out of money. Their own resources have been spent, families have given what they can and insurance benefits are exhausted.
This is the need the Thomas A. Kerns, M.D. Endowment meets.
